Those were some amazing pictures. Mr Fluorescent Vest needs to pay better attention.

But his pillion didn't stay. What a contrast. That had to hurt.

I dont know what the crack is regards getting a licence is in the USA.But in England, it is far too long winded & complicated to understand, let alone try to explain. But i have to say, that it's not a good idea to put a total novice,or anyone who has no dirt experience,on the road, with an 800lb bike.Hey Chuck, look at my new toy,is not a smart move, for anyone.

It depends on the state. They all have their own tests and while they are similar, they are not the same. After that, there's no restrictions in terms of bike. I took my test on a KZ1000 and passed. That was 30 years ago. I had to ride between concentric circles without my feet coming off the pegs. There's about 5' in between the lines. I think they were 23' and 28'. I had to do clockwise, counterclockwise and then a figure 8. If I passed that, which I did, I take a road test. The inspector gives me directions as to where I am to ride and follows me in a car. When we get back, I find out if I pass or fail. Believe it or not, two guys with smaller bikes failed the first part of the test before I took it. One was on a honda rebel and the other was on a sportster. I practiced my ass off in front of my house for weeks. I think Arizona has cone course that has to be done, but I am not sure. Once you have a license, that's it. I just make sure I renew it.

Exactly, if you look at the first 3 pics, he is on the line but well leaned over. Then as he fixated on the other bike, he straightens right up.

Different strokes for different folks i reckon mate. The congested roads here require a fair bit of looking out for your arse.I used to think that if you could kickstart it,you should be allowed to ride it.Today,i watch some young blokes on 125cc bikes around here, and wonder if they will ever get to ride a decent bike. When, and if they do, pass a test,it will almost always be an instant upgrade to rocketship, which they are totally unprepared for.

Saw that earlier this morning. From what I read, the Honda rider was experienced.

Heard the girl on the back broke her leg, the others were just cuts, scrapes and bruises. Definitely could have been a lot worse.

Like many riders I see, the guy on the Honda is leaning the wrong way. If he had leaned forward and to the inside, which would have kept the bike more upright and given him much better cornering, rather than pivoting the bike under him while leaning out, he would have gone right around the corner and never have crossed the yellow lines. I agree that he also needed to be looking around the corner rather than at the Harley.

There's nothing wrong with the turn hula, cops do it all the time. The problem is where he was looking. He head should have been turned towards the right.
