time to formally introduce myself
hey....ive been puttering around here picking up information on the nomad as I have had my sights on them for some time...I found a well cared for and nicely appointed one at a dealer about an hour from home....did some dealing with them and brought it home today...what a ride....
I am a lifelong biker having owned multiple kawasakis (i bleed green) and one long term heavily customized fatboy that I sold off about 4 years ago....I have been riding a zrx1100 and have owned the original concours (1986-was the first one in western ny), z1, kz1000 kz650 and some other also rans...this bike tickled my fancy and I am very impressed with the ride... it is a 2003 vn1500 fi with vance & hines, mustang seat, batwing, risers and a host of very well thought out and tasteful accessories... at 57 years old it was time to slow it down a bit and I think do a little more traveling...thanks for the past posts that helped me know what to look for and I look forward to the future here...I am a technician by trade having worked in auto dealerships for 34 years....17 as a tech and 17 as a service manager...I currently instruct automotive technology at a local technical college...
