It isn't hard to get the front up on the ST1300 in first gear. I had it happen going WOT out of a stop sign, and ever since only open it up after I've dropped it into 2nd. Even then the front can get light. (Wasn't an issue on the Nomad.)
How many tons of lead do you think they had to put in the rear of that CCT's saddlebags?

The CCT in the first video is modified slightly. It has a fuel processor, exhaust, K&N filter and Lloyds drop in touring cam. With just these mods alone it takes the hp to around an honest 120 RWHP and 120 lb ft of torque. I almost did this last Feb.

Brad, I'm guessing the ST1300 in the video was all stock. They have power on tap right from the factory.

You're talking two totally different types of bike here. ( Apples and Oranges) I would hope the ST1300 would wheelie from the factory.

Don't try to use mechanical logic Dave. Im sure Dan will tell us why his ST1300 is slower that BMWR1000RR which has the same number of cylinders and LESS cubic inches?

Dave, I was comparing touring bikes, seems fair enough.
Clearly you threw in the towel on that one with that come back, Brad. Off day?

Not true at all. A ST1300 weighs 700+lbs. A C14 is about 690. Nothing sportbike about that kind of weight. The lightest is the the previous generation of RT at 570lbs. Still not sportbike light.

Seems like a lot of money just to pull a wheelie Brad.

Jim it's not like you to be myopic. C14's and ST1300's are superbike engines in a sport touring frame. Are you doubting that??? My Vic is loafing along at 75 MPH at 2800 rpms. Whats a ST and C14's spinning?
