New guy from Wichita
Last week I picked up a gently used 2011 Vaquero in red, and it was a great day. This is my first bagger, and after researching baggers and drooling over the Vaquero for the better part of 3 years I finally pulled the trigger. Coming from an 1100 VStar it was a bit of a jump, but I am so much happier on the bigger scoot. Now I just need to chase down a little squeak in the fairing, which I think is the guages, and get lowering links and I'll have my 100k mile bike. I ride year round unless there is snow and ice on the ground, otherwise I am out in it.

"Now I just need to chase down a little squeak in the fairing". Are you sure the noise is not coming from the chrome ring around the ignition switch ? Next time you hear the noise put your hand on the ring and see if it stops. Known issue. |
