New paint
Promised to post new paint pics... here they be.
It is hard to get the full affect from pictures but you can see on the close-ups of the tank how in one picture it is blue and in the next it is green. Kinda stagnant in a picture but in person it shifts colors around when you walk around the bike. http://s294.photobucket.com/albums/m.../Bike%20paint/ Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Looks REALLY GOOD!!!!!! Nothing like the pride in knowing "I did that". Way to go.
I do have 1 question, what is that on the left side, at the rear of the transmission going towards the left muffler?

Sweet paint job! I am very envious of people who have that kind of artistic talent.

VulcanE... that is just a stock pretty piece that would have been on the bike with stock exhaust to cover the ugly goat bladder. The instructions said to take it off but I didn't like the hole it left so I put it back on. Thanks for reminding me... I was about to think I had nothing else to add to my bike... however... I saw a guy a few years back that took that piece out and replaced it with an "HD tool box". If you search on that term in e-bay you will see a kidney shaped, chrome lid, lockable box. It fits quite well in that hole and performs a function unlike that Kawasaki piece. Here is one... although it is not in the best shape.. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TEARD...spagenameZWDVW |

Good job.
How long did it take you? How much did it all cost, excluding the cost of your labor of course? :) |
