Dear Top Cat,
One day, as I was sitting on some steps being bored when all of a sudden I hear a commotion amongst the azaleas which peaked my interest and I went to investigate. I chit you not, I observed a chipmunk pulling a bullfrog down a hole by his leg, so he could I assume, eat him later on. As you could imagine, the little bullfrog was franticly croaking, furiously scratching and clawing dirt, grabbing a hold azalea branches with a frightened on his face, because as you could imagine, he didn't want to get ate. I rushed to save the poor little creature, but alas, my efforts were fruitless as the hole looked pretty deep, and I wasn't going to stick my hand down there knowing that chipmunk was in it. After all, Mama didn't raise no idiot.
I shared this story with my co-workers and much to my dismay the burst into boisterous, bent over, holding onto furniture, unstoppable LAUGHTER! The vicious painful kind when you're on the receiving end. They were so obnoxious, telling me chipmunks are vagitarian and eat sunflower seeds, acorns and things like taterchips. If you was to fix a ham sandwich for one, he'll eat the bread, not the meat. If you woulda saved that little frog, he'da granted you three wishes. Those kinds of hurtful things. What a bunch of chitheads! My mind was racing for some retort in an effort to redeem my self when all a sudden I shouted, "Well maybe it wasn't a chipmunk. It could've been a snake, but I garen damn tee you one thing. IT WAS FOR DAMN SURE A CHIPMUNK HOLE!" Sometimes when I'm laying in the bed at night, I can still see them little betrayed eyes looking down at me, and his little clawing fingers disappearing down that dark hole where he met his demise. I know your disdain for smartass sarcasm. I need not mention names as them people know very well who they are. Singed, Broken Soul Hogswaller, NC

Oh my God, do you think if the frog managed to escape that therapy would have saved his tortured mind and live to court girl frogs? Inquiring minds want to know.

On a similar note, once I was fishing on a small pond up north. I heard this frog that sounded not like a normal frog screeching continuously so after a couple minutes decided to see what what going on as I had never heard that before.
Low and behold I found a garden snake had a leopard frog with one leg down its throat and the rest still hanging out of its mouth and the frog was raising holy hell which was understandable... I reached down and picked the snake up and pulled the frogs leg out (which unfortunately left some of its skin still in the snakes mouth attached to teeth. So I saved the frog and pissed the snake off.... and I didnt get any wishes.

Somewhere there is a little legless frog rolling around in a frog wheelchair telling his buddies how he sacrificed his legs to a hungry chipmunk just to save ASS.

Dear Broken Soul;
I can understand your heartbreak at the loss of Mr. Frog. But please be assured his untimely death was not your fault. It is that wicked female, Mother Nature who is to blame. She can be very very cruel at times in her attempt at survival of the fittest. Apparently there was something about Mr. Frog that made him weaker than other frogs. Obviously he couldn't hop as fast as other frogs Ooops, sorry, didn't mean to giggle. You may be surprised to learn there are people who kill frogs just to eat their legs. I know, disgusting isn't it. Your co workers are misinformed as to the eating habits of chipmunks. They are not the cute little furry vegetarian creatures they pretend to be. I saw a pack of them take down a whitetail fawn once and leave nothing but bones in 45 seconds flat. The whole three wishes thing is an old wives tale. The only wish you would have gotten if you stuck your hand down that hole was wishing you hadn't stuck your hand down that hole. If you indeed had stuck your hand down that hole your coworkers would now be calling you "Stumpy" So when you go to bed at night rest assured, there was nothing you could have done to save the frog. If I can be of any further service don't hesitate to contact me here at Dear TopCat

I was hoping for a screaming out of control cussing out that you seem to only share with other folks now days. I reckon I'll have to try again after the winter blahs have subsided.
I trust you are no longer bored and in good spirits? Maybe sam, dodge, david, or one of 'em that are better at pushing the rage button will come along. It's way up there and they taller than me. I awmost forgot about the master of them all "Ol' Who Me?" CNC

TC has relaxed and accepted the winter of discontent. Your story didnt move the cockles of his heart. Now if that frog or chipmunk had loud pipes or if the chipmunk had changed the oil in the frog too early..well....WATCH OUT.
