InsulAted Overalls

This is probably the wrong forum but here goes. I recently purchased some black, 'Premium Insulated Bib Overalls' from Northern Tools. They are 'Polar King' and they have a waterproof barrier in the seat and knees. Sturdy zippers in the legs that make it easy to pull them on or off, even when wearing boots. I rode with them today in mid thirties temperatures, for about 70 miles and I was AMAZINGLY comfortable. Granted, I had good gloves, boots, and a coat. The cost was $99.95 but I had a $20 discount so I was able to get them for $80. I love 'em!

Glad to hear to hear your overalls were not offended by your insults and kept you warm.

I've had a pair of Dickies insulated bibs for 4 years now. They're great when it's below forty but any warmer and with the crash bar chaps, you'll sweat your backside off.

I love them. They are easier to put on and take off, and much more comfortable than chaps in cold weather.

A couple twerps try to insult me with one-liners for wearing them but what the hey.

You wear your snow pants and mittens with the cord through the sleeves and never mind what those other boys say Mike.

You say that like it's a bad thing. In 46 years, I've yet to lose a mitten using that method.

Now do you recommend the type that gramma used to knit where the string is made of wool same as the mittens, or some other version?
