El Nico needs a replacement engine for Judi's 2001 Volusia 800. It threw a rod..... kaputski. Seriously, any help would be appreciated, the cheaper the better... rebuilding the current engine is too expensive!! I'd like to find a wrecked Volusia with a good engine!! I checked my local Craigslist for you. There's a few Vols for sale, but nobody trying to sell an engine.

I'll see what I can dig up today Nico...most of my contacts are east coast, but it still might save money even with shipping. Do you want a particular mileage range ???

I could have swore that I posted a reply here. Was the first one after you posted the thread but it is gone?!?!? Sorry to hear about the engine, any idea what caused it blow a rod?
