mustang seats; what, not again???
Okay, I have read several threads on mustang seats, but it seems that they didn't differentiate on whether it was for the newer 1600 or an older 1500 that is carburetted. The issue was that the Mustang seat put you closer to the gas tank. My question is for a 2000 1500 that is carburetted. I have had 3 other bikes with a Mustang seat. My experience is that they set you slightly higher than the OEM seat. Is this true for my particular model? Does anyone have a similar model with a Mustang seat that is over 5'10" tall? In addition to looking super, I was spoiled with a backrest on all my other bikes and would get another one if it will be more comfortable.

I had the opportunity today to sit on an '03 with a Mustang seat & backrest and I am getting one. This coming winter I will send in my OEM seat and get it made into a DayLong seat. I know it seems excessive to have two sets of seats, but my a** is well worth it. I can justify it by telling myself that an extra seat is a lot less expensive than another Nomad.
