Who'll Stop The Rain?

My yard and pasture are absolutely saturated! It's been raining every day since my return from the much anticipated, much sought after, hotel over flowing, the place to be seen, World Famous VBA Mega-Convention hosted in in Estes Park Colorado this year.

It must be cause I'm right with the Lord, and when you got that status the Lord's gonna watch out after you! So many times I try to tell folks that and they refuse to follow my lead.

But anyway,,,,,,,,,

I wish you folks out West could get some of it. Locally I get at least and inch and up to two and a half every day! We're getting that Viet Nam kinda rain. It's big rain, little rain, sideways rain, and rain that's hard to tell where it's coming from. The airport only get a half inch or none.
Go figger

Long as I remember the rain been comin' down
Clouds of mystery pourin' confusion on the ground.
Good men through the ages tryin' to find the sun.
And I wonder still I wonder who'll stop the rain.

Glad you made it home safe Mike. It's the rainy season down here too. I get spoiled here in the winter. I rode everyday for months. I've been taking a lot of late night rides now since I'm happily retired and it's cooler and drier here at night in the summer months. Are you still going to the SE rally and Antlers. I'm going to both. I'm taking my oldest son the the SE rally then my wife to Antlers.

My girlfriend has some photo's and incriminating stories she's threating to go to my wife with. Usually these tantrums blow over.

I'd love to see it rain here. We haven't had any measurable precipitation in a few months.

Here's the best cover that I've ever heard of this song:

Mind you I'll admit to being biased as a huge fan of both Bob Seger and John Fogerty

Today is the first day we haven't had at least a little rain since I got back. While in Albuquerque, I got to witness the first rain they had this year...lasted all of about 3 minutes, not even enough to settle the dust.
