Wait a bit and post your question in the Nomad forum, not everyone reads the New Member section. I don't ride a Nomad, but I have seen several conversations about proper jetting. The guys will be glad to help you out.
In the meantime, welcome to the forums from Tennessee!

Welcome to the forum. I'd say that that about right. Some get a little more some get a little less. I have an 08 and that's what I average. Old Bear's right you'll get more answers to tech questions in the Nomad 1500-1600 section.

Welcome to the group. 35 mpg is about all you an expect with all the extra's you have. The only real way to do better is baby it and what is the fun of that. One up on my FI with pipes and Ultimate Baffles I average about the same, perhaps 37 mpg but that is it. If I'm really on it and riding hard it will drop to 33-34.

Nomads are not mileage stars. If you got 40 mpg you would probably be driving off a cliff with a tail wind!

Welcome from Pembroke, Ontario - the Heart of the Ottawa Valley
![]() BTW - my 01 1500FI (completely stock except K&N air filter) gets about 54 miles to the Imperial gallon. No complaints!
