Someone was asking about green lite trippers

I also heard that magnets from old hard drives & speaker magnets will work too.

They don't work for at traffic lights, but I do stick one on my oil filter to help trap metal particles.

Watched the video and had a question. If they are magnets and he attached them to the bottom of the scooter which appeared to me metal, then why the double sided tape?
I would try it if I had more proof.

I'm with Speedbyu on this. I haven't had any problems with traffic lights. I just make sure that when I stop at a light, im sitting on one of the trigger mechanisms in the pavement.

::)I ASSUME that the magnets would not stick to the aluminum frame or plastic body parts. I posted just for your entrainment & enjoyment. I have no interest in the magnet market nor in this product. -Rich

Our town uses cameras to change traffic lights now. A cop friend told me to run on high beam during the day...it helps.

It does depend on the type of traffic light some have cameras, some have wires laied in the road and a strong magnet will help you be noticed at a intersection.

here in minnesota, it is allowable to proceed thru a red lite. after you come to a full stop, there is no traffic coming, and the lite has not changed for a period of time.
