They are not that difficult to do, usually we break up into a few smaller groups, rather than one large one. They are also at a easier pace with lots of breaks in between.
No one will be pushing anyone, so you can ride at your own pace regardless.

As I understand it there won't be planned group rides, there will be suggestions for rides.
So you will be able to pick and choose. I'm sure some will be more challenging then others.
You could take off by yourselves, or a small group and ride at a easy pace.
She could always ride up there then ride with you if she wasn't comfortable.

Scott,

Having ridden those roads numerous times, there are all different levels. One of the biggest obsticals will be heights. If she is afraid of heights like a couple people I know she might have some problems. However, there will be rides that don't have those so she could ride those or ride with you when you get here.

Try maps.google.com so you can view these. Here are a couple of the planned rides, enter for destinations Estes Park, CO to Grand Lake, CO. This is Rocky Mountain National Park. A second will be Estes Park, CO to Black Hawk, CO. This is the Peak to Peak Hwy.

If I was a rider, even a new rider, and went to a bike rally, I would want my bike. Even if it meant taking very short easy trips. I think group riding is not the best for new riders (I even hate them and I have been riding a long time) to much pressure and worrying about others. Maybe you could find some nice routes and check them out two-up and then go back and let her ride them. You would know what was to come and talk about it first, good way to teach/learn riding.

Plus the ride from home to Estes Park and back will be valuable experience for her.

Good info. Thanks to everyone for your input. We should be able to make it happen one way or another. I know if we didnt bring her bike she would be disappointed when she got there. what a wonderful place to ride. Cant wait to experience it.

She can ride with me and Coach. When somethin' happens, it happens to us.

Apparently our heads and backsides are made of rubber.

Budman has the best idea.

We are looking at routes to Estes Park right now. We are going to bring both bikes and ride the whole way. It's going to be a blast. Is anyone else riding from Texas all the way to Estes Park from Texas?

Should be a nice ride from Texas to Colorado, looking forward to meeting everyone, especially other women riders.
