Cobra FI 2000R

Hi,

New to the forum, but I have had the 06 Nomad for 2 years. I have V&H baggers and a modified caddman intake. I am also using th3 Cobra FI2000R and I hoping to improve fuel mileage. I am using settings 2-3.5-0. Anybody else using something different that doesn't ping but gets better mileage? Thanks in advance......

Cobra FI 2000R

Mine is at 2.5, 5.0, 0.0 with a 1000 ohm resistor on the air temp sensor; solenoids removed & vacuum hoses blocked; stock intake with K&N filter; Cobra true dual exhaust with tapered tips. I get about 30 - 33 mpg in mixed riding and when highway cruising at 80+ mph. Light brown color on plug electrodes & slight carbon build-up in exhaust pipe. The mpg is taking into effect the 5% odometer error with my smaller rear tire height. Stock the bike got about 33 mpg.

Thanks folks. Seems the settings vary a bit. I think I will adjust the #2 pot a little leaner and see what that does. Thanks again!
