Hey Donnie, No reason you can't pop in from time to time. Maybe since your off bikes it is time to get back into sailing. Take care Bud.

Hi Donnie, pleasure was mine!
Do stop in from time to time. You will be missed at the rallies. Wife & I will be in St-Peters, Cape Breton Island the last 2 weeks in August. I will give you a call & stop in to say hi. Cheers bud!

Hi Donnie, I hope you will stick around the site. You have been around the Nomad for a few years and still have some knowledge about the Nomad that you can share with those of us who haven't had a Nomad for long. I should be down in Cape Breton later this summer. I will give you a shout and go grab a coffee.

Why is your bike a write off? Too bad you aren't able to enjoy riding any longer. Best of luck in whatever your future brings you.

Damn. I guess I missed that.
Sorry to hear about the wreck, Donnie (even if it is a bit late). I hope you've mended.

Hit a deer at speed, six broken ribs and a punctured lung. Luckly he wears all the gear and a full coverage helmet.

I've hit two of them stupid things, and fortunately never had any serious medical problems other than a cracked heal bone, and shattered nerves. The only reason I'm back on one, was because my wife was raising heel about it. I enjoy riding Motorcycles a lot. It takes a lot of nerve to get back on one, because your constantly thinking there's a deer behind every tree and bush, or maybe they just pop up in front of you like the wooden targets in shooting matches.
I've cut back on my riding a lot lately because the stupid deer are so thick here in NC. I feel like I've done my share of thinning the heard. I hate to hear this Caper. You gotta do what you gotta do. We still want you to hang around and attend the rallies, you still own a Nomad, nobody says you have to ride it.
