Proposed Gun Ban In Canada

This has been on the news around here the last couple of days. The Mayor of Toronto has come up with another brilliant idea to make Canada a safer place. Instead of dealing with the real problem he hopes to take away the rights and priveliges of the law abiding population. Instead his plan will allow the gangsters to run with a free reign across the country.

I was discouraged at first when watching that...thinking about that mayor's opnion on gun control decreasing violence but the second part was very accurate. Thanks for sharing....good luck to you guys don't give up.

We could ban let's see.....cigarettes, cars, motorcycles, pocket knives, toothpics, dogs, canes.........I could go on and on.

It seems to me that all the countries that have dictators and or total anarchy are those that do not allow citizens to own firearms.

I just read about this in the land of down under, where it has been a total flop. All sorts of violent crime is up, and of course only the law abiding turned in guns.

It seems the Aussie libral bleeding hearts are at some loss as to the cause their plans flopped over and laid down. After all it cost them 5 million bucks to make law, gather and deystry the items, and then find their fool plan didn't lower the crime rate , but infact increased the crime rate.

It vitually garrenteed the bad guys free access to do harm to just about anyone they like.

Sure makes you wonder where the good Mayor gets his 'facts'. Must be one of those liberal methods of fact finding. You know, if you can think it, it must be true. Unfortunately we have this same type of knucklehead in the US. Many of them have been elected. A lot of them teach in schools and universities. It is a tough fight. Good luck Canada.

The mayor is an idiot, by trying to get this thing off the ground he and his supporters think they are doing us all a big favor. If he would spend as much effort trying to catch the guilty lawbreakers and enforce the penalty's to the max, the gangsters would think twice, instead they get a slap on the wrist.

This is the Mayors way of justifying his doing something about crime in Toronto. Even if he knows it won't work, he will try to push it through if he can.
