Memphis Shades batwing

I always seem to have a topic that doesn't fit anywhere. Wanted to give
a vendor props for a very nice product. Memphis Shades delivered on every
count. I ordered a batwing fairing for my girlfriend's Yamaha Vstar 650. The
piece was very nice. Excellent fit and finish. All the pieces/parts were there.
Packing was excellent and made for the part. This is a good company with a
quality product. It went on super easy and only took about 30 minutes. I really
like the way it turned out and only wish they made one for my bike.

They make one for a 2001 Nomad 1500 with fuel injection, but not for my 99
carb'd bike. What's the difference? Who knows, but it specifically states it only
fits FI bikes.

Anybody successfully put one of these on a 99 carb'd bike?
