Candy Cardinal Red Paint Code?

Has anyone been able to obtain the paint code (from Dupont for example) for the Candy Cardinal Red?

Someone here in the past had it computer matched and said it worked. When I had my fairing repainted the bodyshop matched the paint perfectly, but I have no idea of what brand paint they used.

Yep, should be a Dupont or PPG code somewhere

Hacksaw, yours is the same as mine;
#1126 Base, #3131 Red, #3071 Titanium

The Red is two part, you have to use the Base also.

Local bodyshop paint suppliers have mixed it for folks on here, there has to be a code

My pick would be ColorRite since they have the colors already. =r=

I gave my painter the info from color-rite along with my front fender (see my recent tour pak thread) , and he has had to order from them in the past, but afer two attempts at mixing himself he was able to get a perfect match. It is possible, just have to have the right painter and talent i guess.

ok here it is for anyone that needs it, first he used DuPont standard mix "Cambridge Beige" for Toyota Camry, it's actually a gold color with metallic as the base.

The paint shop mixed this as the top coat and it matched PERFECT;

DuPont Chromabase 851675K/SAZ plus 5 grams per liter metallic

total cost for 1/2 pint was $47.70

It must be a pattern. We quibble over the cost of tires and now paint. I don't get it and I am the cheapest bastard on earth. Some things are the CODB and the best solutions. Make money the top priority and you'll always be pitching to the lowest common denominator or as I have heard it called, a dollar chasing a dime.
