Rants on Facebook.....

Maybe some of you have been reading... but on our Facebook page, there are a couple of guys accusing the President of KawaNOW of owning and riding a Honda.

Hats off to Utah who's been fighting the fight and trying to explain the KawaNOW regional process.

You guys keep and eye on Facebook and jump in and help when you can.

Thanks Utah for all your help. Some people just don't want to understand.

Trip I saw where they accused you of riding a Goldwing and you then posted:

"Robert Hilliard Hmmm... didn't know I rode a Honda. I used to years ago. Nope, just looked in my garage... there's a NOMAD."

So were you expectantly looking for a goldwing in the garage and then disappointed, or happy to find the Nomad still there? Inquiring minds want to know!

Hi Trip,

To Clarify; The Vulcan Riders Association's local Las Vegas Chapter (Vegas Vulcan Riders) has a President who migrated from a Nomad to a GW. The Chapter is more of a riding group than a Nomad enthusiast group as there is a mix of all types of bikes. Unfortunately someone didn't know the difference between KawaNOW and the VRA.

BTW the Chapter President is a nice guy.

I'm ashamed to say, as much as I use facebook, I don't follow the KawaNOW feeds on there.

The orginization of this site seems like the best way [for me] to keep track of topics and conversations.

You know I do like a good <s>argument </s> discussion.
But I don't go to Face book or Twitter or all that other crap.
So I guess you guys are on your own on this one.
That's probably a good thing.

This group was created to promote KawaNOW.org and help its members connect on facebook and not to replace any discussion that should be had on the forum. It surprises me how many Nomad owners are members of the FB group page, but aren't members or the forum...

Ive taken a look at Facebook but its nothing Im interested in. The kids go on it but so far theres nothing there for me.

Yup...I think all the so called "Social Networks" are the down fall of the internet. Anybody can say anything at anytime reguardless of the facts and the sheep fall in line.

My answer is talk to somebody that gives a crap! Oh wait you don't actualy talk to anyone on facebook, what was I thinking...
