Doctor visit

As most of you know, I have had some health challenges this summer. I went to the doctor today, it has been 2 months since my last visit. I had blood drawn for labs last week. Here is the outcome...

Blood - good
Kidneys - good
Liver - good
Cholesterol - good (triglycerides a tad high)
Weight - lost 32 pounds
A1C - 5.9
Fasting blood glucose - excellent
EKG - good

She cut down my diabetes medication from 2 to 1.5 pills a day and said come back in 3 months.

This is good news!!!

Outstanding progress Scott. Keep up the great work.

I went to 1st consultation with bariatric surgeon on Wednesday. Aiming for a end of the year or first of January cut date for gastric bypass.

Larry I didn't know you had plans for the gastric surgery. Lapband or the regular procedure?
