Well, in Nth America that would be Mt. Mitchell, NC.

Great pics, Mitch! One question I haven't seen asked ..."How was the weather up there?" Looks like it was nice but what about the heat index?

No heat index sas. It was in the low 50's in the morning and warmed up to the low to mid 80's. One afternoon and evening of bad weather on the Wednesday. Read glwilson's "Terror Ride" thread. We skirted it being a couple of hours ahead of Greg and his party. All we had was a few rolls of thunder, drizzle, and dense fog. We were blessed to miss what they went through.
