New seat and CT

Okay, as some of you know, I installed a new CT, a Goodyear Triple tread, 205/60-16 on my bike, and a new Mustang seat on my 06 Nomad. well, last weekend, did 500 miles to Laughlin, Nevada in a single day, and same on the way back. What a trip.
As far as the CT goes, when I found the sweet spot with tire pressure, handling and ridability with the CT was no different that the stone I had when I got the bike. I now have about 1800 miles on the CT. Parking lot maneuvers were a little different but very manageable. I doubt I will ever go back to a MT. Having someone mount the tire was a little difficult but got it done. They had to remove the final drive to get the tire in the fender, no biggie though.
The Mustang seat was awesome. I'm able to do 500 miles and still feel my tail bone. I know seats should be made to fit the person and bike together, so I must have gotten lucky with my fit, lol.
Next upgrade next month will be the UB, Vance & Hines, with the Baron Big Air intake, and a fuel processor. I can't wait.
From another thread on here, I do have the long legged blonde in a bikini riding with me. Livin the dream!!!

That tire looks AWESOME , and on mine the ride is WAAAAAY better than any stone was or Metzeler, or Cobra. And you do have to remove the final drive to get that monster under the fender. Good luck with the new tire and seat.

New seat and CT

When I was installing my car tire, I got it in the fender by starting it on the LH side of the bike. It went in with no problems. I first tried from the RH side and there was no way I could get it to clear the final drive.

I have a continental Vanco 2 on mine. Won't go back to a MT.

Yes, my long legged blonde said that the CT rode so much better than the MT. the ride is so much smoother. Handling was about the same at highway speeds, just the unevan parking lot situations took a little to get used to
I am so looking forward to not having to replace a rear tire atleast once a year. WooHoo!!!
