Got my Reckless fairing on and she looks good. Had to shift the whole thing to the right with spacers about 3/16" since it was not centered very good. Seems like some of you had the same problem. Windshield is so stiff that it creates gaps between the top bolts. I wonder if I clamp it to something with a tighter radius and let it sit for a couple days, it might put a natural bend in it. Are the shields from the Harley dealership curved naturally?

Dave the guys with the 1500 had some problems but you are the first one with a 1600 that I have seen that had a problem with centering the fairing.

I shimmed them out about 3/8" for clearance.

I bought a new windshield from these guys and it fits perfectly. Already curved and after a 375 mile ride yesterday,I can say it really does a great job. (lots of bugs riding across some farm land)

The shield that came with my Harley was pre-curved. The tinted aftermarket replacement I swapped it out with was flat, but went right into place with no gaps.
