Is the Presidnet a Tea Bagger

The next big Federal budget battle will be the vote to increase the USAs Debt Ceiling. As I view the coming fight I believe the following statement is spot on.

“The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies. … Increasing America’s debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that “the buck stops here.” Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better.”

Those comments were made by then Senator Obama in 2006, as he voted not to increase the debt ceiling. No truer words have been uttered by our President. But, it needs to be noted, anyone expressing that opinion today would be labeled a “Tea Party” member. So much for labels.

Sad but very true.

Obama also lies through his teeth and changes his story depending on who is talking to at the time. He says one thing to get cheers from the far left during public speeches and then acts totally opposite and nobody calls him on it.
