Spring ? Really ?

Okay, I know that you Southern Boys and Girls are enjoying riding weather. I even hear a rumor that the grass is green and trees are leaved out in some parts. Here in Idaho the snow pack is still rising. Snowed here at the house all morning. Did not stick but it is still cold and wet.

Seems like we had a cold and wet spring last year also. Not complaining, much, because we can always use the water for irrigation, aquafer recharge and fishing.

Seems a shame that you guys down south are looking at drought conditions and we have more than our share up north this year. I just want it to warm up and dry out so that I can put some miles on the Nad.

It's 86* here now Bud. Same as yesterday. Nice southerly breeze. We did dip into the upper 40's Wednesday and Thursday morning. That will probably be the last hoorah for us as far as cooler weather goes. We'll be looking at 90's by early next month if not sooner.

SPRING??? Not here. Not today. Temp. dropped 12 degrees to 39 this morning and it snowed little 1/2" diameter snowballs. Been doing it off and on all day. I wouldn't be so surprised if I still lived in Northern Il. but snow in Las Vegas in April? I didn't sign up for this. :(

Supposed to be sunny and 70 tomorrow though.

We had our nicest day of the season today, it got up to 60 and it was sunny all day. I tried to work on the bike but everybody I knew with a bike around here stopped by and I didn't get much done at all except lose a case of beer. It was still a great day overall.

Only hit 40 degrees today. Decided to work in the garage. I manufactured 10 more jack adapters and got done about 9pm. When I opened the garage door to load them into the Bronco,,,,,,it was snowing. Not sticking, just swirling around letting me know that it is cold and not motorcycle weather.

I have one of Chucksters dual plate air kits that I want to install on the Nomad. Looks like if I get to it tomorrow I will have to wait to try it out.

I think Huntsville, AL set a record today with the temp hitting 89. Temps are way above normal for this time of year.

Bud, we're still waiting for spring here in ND, too. Here in the nw corner, things were looking pretty good until Friday, when we got about 5 inches of really heavy, wet snow. But, I'm not complaining, as we need the moisture. Sounds like this week is supposed to be in the 50s, so we'll take that!

Spring usually goes that way here with fits and starts. More fits than starts this year. More snow in the mountains that I ever remember at this time of year.

About 78* here now and the leaves are out and the lawn got mowed last weekend.
Now if I can get the wife to stop adding little projects I would be able to get out
for more than a 10 mile ride.

It is snowing again. Snowpack is gonna go up again tonight. We are now at about 140% of normal. I pray that we don't get a warm spell and a rain storm.

Gheee, thanks Mike. The snow has started to stick and now it is pilling up. Apparently we expect up to two inches tonight.

Thanks Bud. Could you keep your complaining to your self. We may be in a drought but we are getting snow today. Over 3 inches on the pickups and less than an inch on the ground.

By the way Wompus, BITE ME!!
