Sparton Electronics

Do any of you remember the old Sparton horns, phonographs, radios, and TVs? Well a piece of history disappeared last night as the building these were originally produced in went up in flames. The building encompassed almost a full city block and the pictures were taken looking south toward the building.

This was the view from my back porch over the top of another factory.

Walking around the north end of the first building this is what I found.

This afternoon 15 hours later this is what is left.

The building has been empty for a couple of years now and fortunately there are no reports of anyone being injured during the fire.
