THUMB SCREWS FOR SADDLE BAGS

Dont post much but had to share this with you guys. I purchased some wing head thumb screws and replaced my saddle bag bolts with them. Can now take my saddle bags off without a wrench.Got the idea from Gadgets. Then i purchased Fluted head thumb screws for the windshield. If you want to see them . Go to McMASTER CARR and use these part numbers. I had to cut the screws shorter for the wind shield using a hack saw, but they work great.
98052A426 FOR THE WINDSHIELD
92595A518 FOR THE SADDLE BAGS
If you want a little cheaper thumb screw for the windshield try
96016A614. You have to cut these down as they are too long. My brother inlaw used these, they look good. They have the black plastic knob. The Fluted ones have a Iron knob that is coated, looks like aluminum.
