New Convert

I've been riding my bike to work now for about four years and during that time, we have had a new hire that came in on a Honda ST, and another kid that got himself a fat boy (it's rumered that he was dropped on his head). Any how, the older fellow that I work with who actually has about two years more there than me has been wanting to get a bike all this time.

Well, on my way back to the shop Thursday evening I saw a Nomad for sale in someones front yard. My bud had been on the fence about what he wanted in a bike, and funds were a factor, but he had liked my Nomad well enough. I went back to the shop and told him I found his bike. He met with the seller and found the bike to be in great shape and in his price range. I had also stopped and looked at the bike and told him that Iwouldn't be afraid of it at all. It's a 2001 with 43K miles and several extras.

Well, he bought the bike, rode it around this weekend and came in Monday just happy as could be and said, what had he been waiting for and he only wished he'd gotten one sooner. So, we have one more Nomadder. Now, I'm gonna get him on the forum.

Always room for one more, and then another one and so on :-) Good job, although I dont think it is too hard to convert someone to a nomad as they are great bikes and as for the people on the forum, well they are great too!

I doubt he will regret the decision.

Good job....I am working on a possible convert as well. If he buys it will be a Nomad but he has the annual "will I have a job" deadline to get through in April.

Yeah, it was an easy sell. The bike does most of the work. After all this time I've gotten a pretty good education on different bikes and without bias (maybe) I'd have to go with the prevailing opinion that these bikes are the best bang for the buck on the market for what they do.

Mitch.......Amen, brother.
