Planning the ride to the National Rally

OK, it seems for most areas in the east that riding has ended, But we can at least plan and talk about it.

I was wondering who is going to the National.

Radco mentioned a while back about meeting up along the way. We could maybe use this thread to compare routes and departure dates once we have done some initial planning to see if this is possible.

At this moment my thought is to start out on 81 after crossing into the U.S. My brother did the trip from here in Montreal to Maggie Valley this summer, so I plan to pick his brains a bit and hear what others have to say.
