2011 Road Trip (2)

Should have been a bit more specific with my info. June is pretty much fixed, as is the two week limit and we will be on a motorcycle (the only way!). Previous tours have always been on a bike, a Harley Electroglide, rented from Eagle Rider. We were so impresed with scenery in places like the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, the NP's in Utah, that we returned to visit other similar areas. We dont do "cities" and love the open spaces and isolation. So far I am hearing a lot of suggestions pointing to the north west, Oregon, Wyoming, Idaho, Montana, I must admit, I had Yellowstone on my radar before asking the question.

Some great country in that area. I saw it all when I drove an 18 wheeler. Well all but Montana and South Dakota. Haven't been farther west than Colorado since 1977. Sure would enjoy seeing all that beautiful country again and this time on the Nomad rather than a big ole truck.
