I can honestly say that jumping my Nomad has never crossed my mind. Hats off to that guy though, he's got more guts than me.

Never had desire to jump my Nomad. I have jumped a bicycle many times and many years ago.

Compare the Nomad exit and mid-jump angles with the first picture. He was really lucky to land it safely with the nose of the bike heading down. Don't know if it was his technique or simply the balance of the Nomad from engine weight and where the floor boards are attached, but I wouldn't want to land any bike, but especially an 800 lb bike with the front wheel leading the way. Glad he made it safely.

haha, I remember this. It makes me wonder what Dan's insurance rate is. I laugh to myself about his stories anytime I see a bike pulled over by a cop.

Yes, Dan Lund was one of the more noticeable personalities on KawaNOW -- definitely on an eccentric wavelength.

Technically, I paid close attention to his postings about riding skills. Personality-wise, he had a <sub>slight </sub>problem with authority.
