grip endcap

How do I get the left grip end cap off?
Yes I would like to reuse it.

It screws off and I believe it has LH threads. Mine was glued on and I mangled it when I swapped my stock grips with ISO grips.

I think mine is glued in too.

Are they plastic through out or is there a metal center?

It IS LH threaded on, and glued. Wrap it in soft leather, and grab the leather with large water pump pliers and turn it off easing it till it breaks the glue loose. Don't crush it too bad either.

It is LH thread, turn it CW to get it off. I did like Mac suggested and mine came off in tact. I took a dead blow hammer and tapped it onto the left front motor mount hex head bolt. It adds a little BLING to an area that doesn't have much.
