There will be a short commercial... but you just have to listen to the mindless ramblings that come out of this woman's mouth -- especially when asked how her bill does not cause someone to lose money... I had seen the clip you were talking about BD... she was a bit confused and overstepped in her comment calling herself a socialist... which is exactly what she is.

I loved in the clip I posted where the reporter asked her if her husband's bank was doing some of the things being suggested. Maxine wouldn't answer and accused the reporter of turning the interview around.

It never ceases to amaze me who the American people elect. Holy crap! We in Minnesota elected Jesse Ventura for Governor. What an embarrassment that turned out to be. I live in the land of liberals and even my own brothers think that Socialism is the way to go. My sympathies are for my grandchildren, they will never know the land of the free that our generation enjoyed.

I can honestly say I have no idea what the fix is for our country while we let foreigners hold our loans and we have American countries farming out to foreign countries like the Philippines and India to make the decisions whats right for America and Americans. Like most Americans I bought a nice house in a very nice location near Lake Michigan, did remodeling updates and a new garage and a paved driveway. Had the house up for sale for over a year and have lost over $100K just like the rest of my neighbors. I'm resorting to short sell because "it's just business" like the big boys at the banks. Take my loss and re-invest again on another at someone else loss.

We need an American revival, NOT this Tea Party stuff. But where we turn back CAFTA and NAFTA. If your a good neighbor say like Canada then tariffs and rules will be equal, if not we don't want to do business. When ever I get a courtesy call or I call a help desk I ask where they are located and if it is not an AMERICAN I tell them point plank I don't deal with foreigners only American company employing American Citizens.

Tea party is a step in the right direction from the people saying "Enough is Enough" we have stood back and said... sure you can, I dont care.... to the point that now "we" the people who allowed all of these freedoms to exist are being beaten down by the same people we said... come on board you can be what you want in America.... now its you can but I cant.

So in my humble opinion... Tea Party is getting us going again and in the right direction that the politicians should start remembering they work for us not rule us.

John... while a "protectionist-mode" may sound like it solves all of our problems... unfortunately it would only sink us deeper.

There has never been an example where protectionism has ever workded for the benefit of the country doing it.

Maybe if everyone who wants on the ride contributed to the ride, the protectionists wouldnt have a platform to stand on?
I dont think it would benefit anyone but I also know something needs to be done to bring everyone else up to our standards versus the current bringing us down to theirs cause its only fair.

Wow...what an embarrasment for America! She blames the banks totally, not a word about Carter and Clinton and the "equal opportunity lending acts"... Amazing. I guess if you tell a lie often enough people will start to belive you.
