He's right, we are in a a horrible mess specifically because of our politicians, both parties, over spending and expanding the reach of the federal government. His argument for a smaller national defense doesn't hold water because his assertions are the same as the ones used prior to WWI and II when we were asselling around while other countries were violating treaties and agreements and increasing theirs.

"Neocon" is a loose slang subject to the individual useing it. Who knows what he means by it? The consistent meaning I keep hearing is it refers to is Republican Jews. Where has this guy been for the last two decades? Israel has been relinquishing land in an attempt for peace, and for there efforts and trouble they recieve rockets and mortar fire in thier neighborhoods.

He has some points in his article, and Obama is trying it his way by making nice with our adversaries. Now we have a jackass in Iran with soon to have nuclear weapon. We're leaving Iraq. I suppose the terrorist will breath a sigh of relief and say "Finally" and go back to to their jobs and families and live in peace now. ::)

We are in a moment in history that is going to sway just like in the past... be prepared for the worst and hope for the best.

We have a president who is appologizing to enemies, offended allies, spending like its his money, trying to raise taxes on everyone and everything, his wife is traveling like its free representing America to Socialist nations, he is disarming our defenses at one of the most critical points in history where "ALL" our self professed enemies are growing their arms and capabilities of reaching their enemies (which we are top of the list).... not to mention his time on the time he has spent on the golf course rivals Tiger Woods and the number of vacations he has taken is what most people take over several years.

This is like the perfect storm forming while we all patiently wait for the next election to hopefully change the direction he and the ruling class have set in motion before its to late.

Look up Neville Chamberlain to find out what the nieve view of "they are just like us" got England at the beginning of WWII..... people who are out to destroy you will keep you looking the other way and use your values against you until they get enough power to destroy you.... its fact and its history.

Obama's policies may work in a block party in the inner city... but he hasnt realized he is president of the the strongest (used to be) country in the world... not leader of a community center in Chicago.
