No longer in business - CycleCat Leather

I have decided after 5 years to quit making leather products for sale. Unfortunately, I cannot make enough of a profit on a few orders a year to make it worth my time to continue.

I want to thank everyone that bought some of my products and everyone that expressed an interest in my products.

Thats too bad, but I know exactly what you mean. Sometimes its hard to make a good quality product and sell it at a price that is worthwhile to the buyer and seller.

I'm sorry to hear that C.C.. I always meant to get a rear mud flap for the '06. I can't remember the cost of one now. Any chance you have any product kicking around, that you still have to sell off? Or did you make the items as they were ordered? You made a nice product from what I saw in Custer.

The only product I have left is the set of engine guard covers for the 1500 I advertised on the forum for a long time. I was making products when ordered, it was easier than having a lot of stock on hand. Now that I have run out of leather, it is much easier just to shut down.

Mac, I am not done working with leather, just the hassle of making for other people. I am planning on taking my old black set of leather and covering it all with red patent this winter. I've done black patent and it looked rally sharp, so my Ruby is going to be wearing red patent next spring.

I do have some other old bags that are now going onto the new toys for carrying space.

Really sorry to hear that you will be shutting down your business. A person has to make a profit and if you can't that only leaves the option you have chosen. Good luck in any future endeaver you decide to do.

Ok...... Making things for sale and just making things you want is 2 different things.
