Anyone in the 911 Foundation Ride?
Angie and I are doing this ride for the second time. The ride raises funds for fallen first responders' families. Goes from Shanksville PA to the Pentagon on the first day (Friday), then from the Pentagon to New York City on Saturday.
Yes, it is a lot of bikes that ride formation for hundreds of miles. But an image that will last with me forever is leaving Shanksville through some of PA's backroads, coming up over a rise and seeing the long line of bikes ahead of me led by the flashing blues and reds of the lots of LEO escorts. We'll be part of the gas pumping team.

Great ride, the sound of thunder rolling through Harlem in the morning is truly awesome. I worked the site first search and rescue then recovery, never forget that!, nice to people remembering, considering most peoples short memory. Cant help being disgusted by the lack of action concerning the new building, and oh yea, I bet the new mosque across the street goes up faster than the Memorial!,,, Sorry I got a little carried away.Great Ride!
