Gov't out of control

These clowns in Washington DC are gleefully passing 2000+ page bills that supposedly will fix all of the things that have been wrong with our country, our Constitusiton and screwed up by GWB. It seems like they crank out 2000 pages at the drop of a hat. Problem is that NO ONE READS THEM and no one really knows what is in them. Surely that is an impeachable offense by itself.

The latest thing that has my attention is that the "Stimulus Bill", whichever that one was, has a provision that directs the government to track the BMI of every American!! This may seem innocent enough to those on the Left (I just watched a skinny, 20 something, airhead female, bubbling over about what a good thing this is on Fox News) This is how it starts. "Innocent" collection of data. Later on they will use this data to deny health care or to force us to eat what they say is good for us. They will put businesses out of business that they say are marketing unhealthy foods. Good bye McDonalds, Burger King, Ben & Jerry's, Baskin Robins.

Now there is a story that a school district has started sending home BMI warnings to parents about their children.

Food police and fat patrols will make our lives a nightmare.

This is the vision of a perfect world according to the Democrats in Washington. Everyone needs to be broke (rob from the rich and give to the poor), skinny (BMI monitors) and unable to travel at will. (no gasoline powered vehicles) Oh, and we need to welcome anyone from anywhere who wants to share in this Utopia society.

Can I declare myself a sovereign nation and cecede from this insanity?
