chrome fork lowers

Anybody had their fork lowers chromed or are there any aftermarket skins or kits to dress up the lower fork area?
Thanks, Bill

Back a year or so ago, I put on a set of Kuryakyn Fork skins (part number 8690). I think they look pretty good, here's a few photos of them,

View from the front

Angle view from front

And a side view, also have the Kawi caliper covers

Thanks, I just found them online and was gonna ask about them. They look good in the pictures. Probably half the price of having the tubes chromed.

Do you have a part number or link for the brake covers?
Thanks, Bill

I have the same set up as Vulcan E. Easy install and haven't had a bit of trouble with them. I believe I got the caliper covers from Kury also. Just check out their site and sign up for the free catalog. Very nice and lots of great stuff.

Bill, click this Link and it'll take you to them. It don't show a picture of them, but if you click on the "click here for larger image", it'll show them to you. You can negotiate prices with some dealers, I got both mine for $58

I have chrome forks on the bike , they are the Fire & Steel ones that used to be available on the 1500's a few years ago.
Im not sure if there are anymore available,
