84' Venture trunk for sale ---SOLD !!!

I'm considering selling my Venture trunk and rack, along with the mounting rack, and was wondering if anyone here would want to buy it before I advertise it on eBay.
I made the rack and had it chromed. I had some trouble with stripping the trunk down for paint and as a result the trim between the two halves are no longer screwed on. I epoxied them on after the paint was done. This also meant I had to modify the latch's that come down from the top half. But it closes and locks just fine.
I have also installed hinges on the inside. It didn't come with them orig. but I saw them on eBay and thought I'd give them a try.
I bought the top rack from a member of KawaNOW . It's the correct trunk rack for that trunk and hard to find.
The back rest was recovered by "Rags to Riches" and matches very well. I also recently purchased an organizer that fit's in the lid. The only thing I would like to keep from the project is the large chrome "Nomad" script and the emblem that's on it. I believe with a heat gun they'll come off without a problem. This is not a deal breaker though. The emblem I'm not concerned too much about replacing. I can get one from Bike Bandit easily if I want one.
I'm not sure what shipping would be but that would come later. I'm probably into the pkg. for about $800. So what's fair?
$400.00 plus shipping? too high? Make me a reasonable offer.

I am putting on a fairing and the member has a an H.D. trunk that matches it perfectly. Also the elec/ant. from the radio hooks right up, He had them both on his Nomad. And I wouldn't need to buy and install an ant. on the Venture trunk that way either.

I had a good look at this trunk today while doing Rick's clutch. The chrome rack alone has got to be worth $150 and the trunk is in very good condition. Someone should snap this up. It blows away the Tsukayu trunks and I think those are up in the $800 range.

Thanks hammer!! I think it's worth the price. I have a few of people interested or at least asking questions. I am on my way to Medicine Hat tomorrow morning, to have my fairing and HD trunk installed. I'll be back in a week. Hey Dave if you'll keep this ad bumped up/refreshed every once in a while I'd appreciate it.

Ya well what can I say?? I just decided I needed more room and Cory/"strobe" gave me a deal I couldn't refuse. That and the fairing I bought from him and putting on, just matched up so well.
I just finished spending the evening with Cory here in Med. Hat and got the trunk all done except for the rear speakers. We also got the fairing partialy mounted and wired. All in all a good start. Another full day & evening tomorrow and we should have it all finished. I should be on my way home Sunday morning.

Thanks Daryl. I must say in defense of one member who was interested, that I was/am reluctant to ship very far by our government postal services, other than UPS or private service. If there is a buyer out there they need {for their own protection of damage or loss} to ship via UPS or something similar.
