99 nomad oil fill plu

aight... i searched and haven't been able to find a answer.... on the 99 i got a plug for my oil fil that has a huge slot it it... the problem lies in there seems to be no gasket on it and for the life of me i can't get the rat bastard to turn! :-/ any ideas?

got it! i had to use a rag and some channel locks on it... somebody really cranked down on it before me

How in hell did you get a grip on that plug with channel locks?
Mine sits flush with the motor and I use a washer in the slot with a screwdriver through the hole in the washer.

A 1/2 inch FENDER WASHER padded with a rag is the tool to have. The same tool does the rear gears filler plug too. A lot of us change the gear oil when we change engine oil, or every other time. But it is wise to check it each time you do engine oil.

ill look into the fender washer mac. and top cat... i put a shop rag over it and griped it that way. it worked
