Smith Brothers

I had used Smith Brothers before for parts and had a great experience so I decided to share that with a fellow member. They called, talked to Sam and she stated that they were no longer going to ship parts. So I guess I'll be going through Ron Ayers or another supplier.

If someone knows different, please post.

Smith Brothers

Coach I took a ride on April 1st, the day I fell and broke my rib, and stopped in at Smith Brothers. I was not impressed at all with the dealership. I looked at some helmets and asked about the HJC IS-33. The lady at the parts counter hadn't even heard of it. She looked it up and said she could order it. I left and rode to the dealership where I bought my bike and they had several of the helmets and I bought one.

Smith Brothers to me was a hole in the wall and I will never return to their dealership. Those are just my thoughts from personal experience and being at Smith Brothers dealership.

Try Bike Bandit. They seem to get the parts out quicker. I ordered from Ron Ayers two weeks ago and still haven't recieved an order confirmation. But they got the $$ in micro secends.

Sam was a pleasure to work with. She helped me with a Drifter brake pedal for my Nomad. On mail order, it made no difference if it was a hole in the wall.

It's too bad that the dealership shut down the little niche that Sam had carved out for herself.

You are correct Dandolfn on not making a difference if it was mail order. Guess maybe I was expecting too much when I visited.

I had no idea those two bearded freaks on that box of cherry cough drops were bikers.
