Rear Shocks

Went to check air pressure in my shocks today and when I checked the left one, oil shot out. Not good. So Question, would shocks from a 2002 fit my 2001?
When I left for Atlanta, 20 lbs in each shock. 2 weeks later and left one nothing but oil!!

The 2002 shocks are the same, did you try to pump up the bad shock and see if it holds some pressure?

No, every time I try to hook up to the valve, oil comes out. I wasn't sure it would screw up my pump

Just found out, the shocks I was looking at are from a 2002 1500 Classic. Any chance they still fit mine?

They probably are the same, but without comparing p/n,s and a visual inspection its hard to be certain.
