what kind of tire presure do you guys have in metzler marathons.
they were on the bike when i bought it and i put on about 4000 miles last summer and they seem to be in pretty good shape still.
i won't be using metzlers again but i may as well get all i can out of them...........
riding with passenger mostly
both of us combined probably weigh about 325lbs

Check for nails.
My tire was dropping air gradually when I picked up nail.

I try to check my tire pressure every time I go for a ride. Just to make sure (and get into the habit).

and while I have no personal interest in this firm or gadget, the Tire Gard is a pretty good little system. beats the hell of fumbling around on the ground trying to check the pressure on the rear tire (or do you all have some secret that i don't know?0.

Tire guard is a device you install and it keeps a constant check on your air pressure. Similar to the device that is installed on GM cars.

I don't check tire pressure every day but do try to check at least once a week.

My bud has it on his Royal Star Venture. He likes it. Expensive.

I have easy off knobs on my saddle bags. Sometimes I remove the bag to check. Next time I replace the front tire I will ask them to put the angled tip to the right side.
