what rear rack -06 nomad

hello all - looking for input on what type of rack to put on the back. my wife and i are going on a trip this summer and she says we need more room. planning to put bag on the rack. thanks for input

I have the Fire & Steel rack on my 06. I would rather have the Cobra rack. The Cobra sits lower than the F&S. Also search the forum for which bag others have. Not all bags will fit the oversized backrest pad.

Custom World International, it sits lower and I think a bit larger than others. I used a pretty big sissy bar bag on it last year.

I too have a cobra rack.. It fits the other tubed chrome accents around the bags well.

I have cobra and it says 10 lbs.... i add about 30 and it works, but if you want more than 30 go with WOMPUS.

I have the Cobra and it's ok (looks good) but my Kuryakyn Ultra Tour bag hangs off the edge abuot 3 inches and sags. So if you are going to use a big bag on it, then that Custom World one looks pretty good.

I just put the Wompus rack on mine a couple days ago.

It will hold anything.

I'm going to mount my trunk to it this weekend.

Get the Wompus rack and you won't be sorry.

Mike. is your trunk mounted directly to the rack, or did you use the yama mounting rack?

I can't decide which way to affix it.
