Jamie,
Did you get any of that bad weather? Sounds like a tornado came through that area. Hope everything is ok.
Bobby

Don't know about Bobby but we had a hell of a storm come through this morning but we were lucky and every thing is still in one piece. Bobby you need to check with your son I heard that had some big hail up around Hernando and Southhaven.

He said they spent most of the night in the hallway. Weather was bad. He got a little roof damage but nothing serious. We rode from Jacksonville. Got in storms from Destin all the way home. It was mostly heavy rain and had a few spots of light hail and lightning. Glad I went ahead and rode back last night instead of today. Nomad ran good entire trip. Going back to Panama City next month.

Hey Bobby, we got a little damage in my little town of Eden, mostly uprooted trees, but everybody's fine here. A tornado actually went right over my house today but wasn't close enough to the ground to do too much damage. I was actually working all day in a different part of the county and we didn't get nothing but a little rain and a few drops of rain. But all ya got to do is turn on the Weather Channel or CNN and it'll tell ya everything ya need to know about the F4 tornado in Yazoo City about 10 miles north of us today. It did a lot of damage. Tore up a lot of homes and businesses and killed probably a dozen or so folks. They've pretty much shut the city down and I'll try to get through there tomorrow and check it out. We already have half a dozen or so big jobs out of this so far and will probably get a lot more. Some houses will have to be completely rebuilt. But we're all fine. Later, Jamie

Glad to hear you did OK Jamie. I watched some footage on the news tonight. The F4 was 3/4 of a mile wide. I saw trees that had all of their bark stripped off. Lots of folks are homeless. What a mess.

Glad to know everyone is ok~ the worst we had in this area and East of us is heavy rain with flash flooding we went to quincy IL today and the rivers were out over their banks and fields were under water. It is bad because the farmers were just getting a good start on all their crops and now they are under water in some places....:(

Glad all of you were blessed to do OK through these violent storms. We only had 0.25" of rain with the whole ordeal. These Spring supercells put a world of hurt to plenty of people. Prayers sent for the families who lost loved ones and those who are homeless.

That was one big tornado. 170 mph winds. 1 3/4 mile wide destruction path. Widest in state history. And was on the ground for 149 miles, 4th longest in state history. It came and went in just a few seconds. Not much warning, kinda strayed off projected path. Lucky it hit only the tip of the city. Bad way for Yazoo to make the news. Could have been much worse, though.
