Connecting Triple Whammy w/ Back Off Brake flasher
I have the 'Back Off' break light flasher that flashes 3 times then pulses and flashes 3 times, pulses and keep repeating this cycle as long as the brake is on. It's installed under my seat. I have it splced into the blue rear brake light wire between the battery and rear fender. It's been hooked up for over a year and works great for drawing attention to drivers behind me. I recently bought the Kuryakyn Triple Whammy plug and play setup and plan to install it this weekend. I was wondering if I connect it as the instructions say, would the 'Back Off' brake light have any negative effect to the Triple Whammy. I realize the Triple Whammy also has the option to make the brake light flash but I wasn't going to use that option since the 'Back Off' setup is installed and working. I guess with both units installed and with the new red turn signal lenses installed it will look kind of strange from behind when my turn signal is flashing red not amber and the red brake light is flashing on and off in a different sequence.
It will look different but should get even more attention than before adding the Triple Whammy. Any comments please. Thanks. Glenn Login or Register to Remove Ads |
