rear fender rail

Hello fellow Nomads, has anyone have their Nomad set up as a bagger with matching fender rail?
Please post pics and where you got your fender rail.
Thanks

Is this the rear fender trim your talking about? It is a Fire & Steel product, p/n K53020-148 and only fits the 1500's.

Kris , I'm think'in of picking up a used fender rail somewhere and fabing one of those so it fits our bikes. Just make it so attaches to the same bar as the lower bag rails fit on. Shouldn't be too hard.

+10,000- I think someone ought to order one and try to modify it to see how difficult it really would be. Any volunteers? I'll test and modify it if someone else wants to pay. :)

Yah OK it would be easy for you after all the money you made selling your bike. So you could pay and someone else can try it????

You'd think so, but that's not where they attach on the stock unit. I met up with a guy about 2 months ago on a 1500. The backside curves up and follows the line of the fender, connecting up around the saddlebag mounts? That's what it looked like from my brief stare at it.

Any 1500 owners feel free to correct me. I'm half blind without sunglasses on.

Thats correct Taranis, it mounts on each side up by the passenger grab handles and also under the fender right behind the V to a bracket.

Has anyone contacted Fire and Steel about the demand for rear fender rails to fit the Nomad 1600?
