Nomad Battery or replacement

Hey Guys what kind of life are getting out of your bike batteries. This will be the 6th riding season on mine and it still checks out OK. But I'm a little leary and thinking of replacing it anyway. What brand do you recommend for a replacement?

Nomad Battery or replacement

I hear tales of 8 years if it is maintained. I keep mine on a shumaker anti sulfation maintainer all the times I am not riding, and would not parked at work, but my work is where I live.

The above charger comes with 2 set of leads, one set is clips and the other bolted hard to the battery. So does the pricey Battery Tender.

Everyone has the exit location different, but mine is forward to the engine and down in the wire hose tubing bracket. Sort of out of sight, and no where near paint.

Nomad Battery or replacement

I have an 04 and I have had it six years this month. It still starts like the first day I owned it. I will buy a Yuasa when I replace it.

Nomad Battery or replacement

Ive still got the original on my 02 bike but I'll be replacing it shortly. In the cold weather it doesn't crank as well as a newer battery. Im going to replace it with another AGM battery.

I have the OEM in my 2003...still cranking! (knock on wood). I do use a tender.

I wouldn't worry about replacing until it shows signs of being a little weak. I would replace with another Kawa or Yuasa.
