What Kind of Helmet Do You Wear ?

I wear a Shoe J-Wing, but I am thinking of buying a full face helmet ( safer ? ). I am looking at a Shoei RF-1000 or a Shoe Mulitech. What do you wear, and why ?

I wear a M2R 504 helmet. It's a half helmet with zip in neck curtain. My wife wears a Shoei St-Cruz, also a half helmet with zip in neck curtain. On cold days (< 45 degrees) I wear a Nolan N41 outlaw helmet with face shield.

Depending on the weather, I wear a full face HJC Symax flip-up, a HJC CS2 half helmet or sometimes my old HJC LT12 full face. I'm looking at some of the new helmets with the retractable sunscreen. Price has come way down now that other manufacturers have started producing them, and the mechanisms seem to work well.

Don't remember what make mine is, it is at home and I'm not or I would go look, but it is a full face helmet. I've had too many bees in the old bonnet and don't want to go there anymore.

Like most others, I have multiple helmets.

* Nolan N42 N-com (3/4) for cooler weather
* Scorpion EXO-100 (1/2) for warmer weather
* Bell Drifter (1/2) for warmer weather, but it's uncomfortable for long rides.
* Scorpion EXO-200 (3/4) Thrown in by the dealer as a spiff when I bought my C50T. It's a nice helmet, but fits tight around the ears and gives me a headache.
* THH TS-40 (full) that I bought and have worn once. It just isn't me. See picture below

CJ, what do you hear about the Scorpion EXO700 full face series ? I was told it is a good buy moneywise, and comfort/qualitywise.

I've never worn one or even tried one on, but Scorpion makes a darn good helmet. I've never researched them, because I'm not a full faced helmet fan.
