Trunk project

This is my trunk project from last year. It took me about 2 weeks to complete, the paint color is a little off but its OK for a rookie.
I made the rack out of 3/16" aluminum plate and its solid as a rock.
Now if I can get the wife healthy we can put some miles on it. :)

Is that a Harley Tour Pak? Looks like it may be from an Ultra, just wondering as the shape is great for the Nomad.

I kind of like the wood mock up supports!

Good job ;)

Where was all the love for wood supports when that guy had his spring suspension seat recently?

Sent you a email to your yahoo account about your rack that you built. Looks good.

Thanks

Its off a 99 Yamaha Venture, I picked it over the Harley tour pack because I thought it matched the Nomad lines better (in my opinion). Bought it off the Dilphi Vulcan forum from someone who moved on to a Victory. Had all the pieces including the top rack. It was far from cheap, but I think it is the best thing I've added so far. Been thinking of adding a fairing, just can't make up my mind.

Is my picture too big again? Thought I fixed it but it seems kinda big. No need to make anyone have to scroll left and right, if its to big let me know and I'll try to fix it again

Looks great but if I had done that much work on the wood I would have used it.
